About Urban Cord Crafts
Urban Cord Crafts was created to set a military-grade standard for paracord gear and accessories. This area had become increasingly saturated with products marketed as “rugged” and “high quality”, but they failed under real-world use.
After firsthand experience with paracord products that were poorly constructed, overly machine-made, or misrepresented, it became clear that the gap between how these products were presented and how they actually performed was significant. Items intended to be durable often failed in everyday use, exposing weaknesses in materials, construction, and quality control.
Urban Cord Crafts exists to close that gap.
The goal is simple: offer gear that not only looks clean and is considered part of an everyday carry setup, but is also built to the level of durability and reliability customers genuinely deserve.
We bring real military experience into the creation and craft of our products, before we list them for sale we run them through rigorous tests to ensure that the material, hardware and even the weaves we use will hold up to our standards. We don't just label ourselves veteran made we show it in our products. If it doesn't work we start again, we improvise and adapt our designs until we find the right one, the one that will survive even then most rugged of uses and we then create that into our Urban Cord Crafts gear.

All our materials and hardware go through rigorous testing both in house and in field to ensure we provide out customers with the most heavy duty and high quality materials on our gear. About Our Gear
Urban Cord Crafts gear is designed with one priority: function first. Every design decision is made to support strength, durability, comfort, and long-term reliability — in that order.
Gear is built for daily everyday carry, work environments, and heavy indoor or outdoor use. There is no distinction between “display” items and “working” items. Every product is built to be used.
Urban Cord Crafts uses 550 Type III paracord, the same standard paracord relied upon in military environments. This cord consists of seven inner strands, each made from twisted three-ply nylon/polyester, enclosed within a 32/1 braided outer sheath, with an approximate diameter of 4mm.
This material was selected because it is proven, familiar, and reliable under real conditions — not because it is trendy.
Microcord is used selectively, primarily for decorative or structural detailing, without compromising the integrity of the primary load-bearing paracord.
All hardware is selected based on load rating, then physically tested before any supplier is accepted.
