www.urbancordcrafts.co.uk is operated by Urban Cord Crafts Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17219561), with its registered office at 66 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NA. References to "we", "us" and "our" mean Urban Cord Crafts Limited. References to "you" and "your" mean you, the customer or website user.

2. DEFINITIONS
"Goods" means the handmade paracord products advertised for sale on our website. "Order" means your order for Goods. "Contract" means the legally binding agreement between you and us for the sale and purchase of Goods.

3. USE OF OUR WEBSITE
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes. You must not use our website in any way that breaches any applicable law, is fraudulent, or causes harm to the website, our business, or other users. We reserve the right to restrict or withdraw access to our website at any time.

4. PRODUCTS AND DESCRIPTIONS
All Goods are handmade to order. As such, slight variations in weave, colour, and finish are a natural feature of handmade products and are not defects. While we make every effort to display product colours and details accurately, the actual appearance may vary slightly depending on your screen settings.
All Goods are subject to availability. We reserve the right to withdraw any product from sale or amend our product range at any time.

5. ORDERS AND CONTRACT FORMATION
When you place an Order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase Goods. We will send you an order acknowledgement by email, but this does not mean your Order has been accepted. A Contract between you and us is only formed when we confirm that your Order has been accepted and is being processed.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any Order before acceptance, including where Goods are unavailable, where there has been a pricing or description error, or where we are unable to fulfil the Order.

6. PRICING AND PAYMENT
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout before you complete your Order.
We make every effort to ensure prices are accurate, but errors may occur. If we discover a pricing error on an item you have ordered, we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price or cancel the Order.
Payment is taken at the time of Order through our secure payment providers. We do not store your payment card details.
 
 7. HANDMADE TO ORDER & DISPATCH TIMES
As all Goods are handmade to order, please allow our stated dispatch time (typically around one week) before your Order is sent. Dispatch times are estimates and not guaranteed. Delivery timescales are set out on our Shipping & Delivery page.

8. DELIVERY
We deliver within the UK and internationally. Delivery options, charges, and estimated timescales are set out on our Shipping & Delivery page. Risk in the Goods passes to you on delivery. We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, customs, or other events outside our reasonable control.
For international orders, you are responsible for any import duties or taxes charged by the destination country, except where stated otherwise.

9. CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Because our Goods are handmade to order and made to your specification, the standard 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations does not apply to most of our Goods. Full details of your cancellation, return and refund rights — including your statutory rights for faulty, damaged, or misdescribed Goods — are set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. CUSTOM ORDERS
Custom and bespoke Orders are made entirely to your specification. As such, they are non-refundable except where the Goods are faulty or not as agreed. We will confirm all details with you before commencing any custom work, and it is your responsibility to check these details carefully.

11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on our website — including our logo, branding, text, images, product designs, and graphics — is the property of Urban Cord Crafts Ltd or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any of our content without our prior written permission.

12. OUR LIABILITY
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our negligence. We are not liable for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable.
We do not exclude or limit our liability in any way where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
As our Goods are for everyday personal use, we are not liable for any business losses. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of a Contract shall not exceed the value of the Order to which the claim relates.
Our Goods are decorative and functional accessories. They are not safety equipment, life-saving devices, or load-bearing equipment, and must not be relied upon as such.

13. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where this is caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to postal delays, courier disruption, supply shortages, extreme weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.

14. PRIVACY
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which form part of these Terms.

15. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to your Order is the version published on our website at the time you place your Order. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.

16. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms and any Contract formed under them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
